We sell a portion of our fruits and nuts at local farmer's markets in the summer.  We are a proponent of knowing your food, where it comes from, and the people that grow it.

This summer we are planning on doing the Vancouver Markets of Saturday and Tigard on Sundays. We do have a very small crop this year so this in contingent on us still having nuts by that time of year.

If you attend farmer's markets regularly, you realize that they have the freshest most delicious produce.  If you have never been to one of your local farmer's markets, then you ought to go.  Next time you have a craving for fresh delicious fruit or a healthy salad - go to the market and compare the products to the same products from the grocery store. You may be suprised. The prices are generally either comparable or less than the grocery store prices and the quality of the food is always better.  And don't forget that you can find crafts, fresh fish, flowers, nuts, fruits, vegetables, cooked food, and many other items at many farmer's markets. Go and see what they have, shop around - you may find more there than you think.

Most of the time, the people selling the products at the farmer's markets are the same people that made those products. They are the person to ask if you have a question about the product.  If you think about it - it is really amazing.  Imagine talking to the person that made your television or your box spring mattress and being able to ask them about how and where the product is made.  Believe it - this is your chance to talk to the farmers - ask them about how or where they grow their produce.
